Tomorrow is my last day on Facebook for a while but Im starting this blog
already today. I'd still like to share my photos and some freaky
thoughts with you so if you want to stay in contact with my nonsense
this is your chance. :)
Years ago I got a folder of the exhibition "women before 10 a.m." unfortunately I had no chance to visit it but the few photos I saw in this folder really impressed me. Maybe Ill buy the illustrated book when there is some money left after christmas. What I liked about the concept was the purity and all this natural feelings and I decided that ...one day...I would like to do something similiar.
Thursday came my chance. Im quite busy right now. I'll move to another city soon and so there are several things to manage and also university is quite time consuming right now. This really limits the freetime for photoshoots especially on weekends. Carry and I wanted to shoot again since I came back from Finland....somewhere in June...but always missed each other. This thursday we got our chance and had a wonderful photobrunch. She prepared a wonderful brunch for us and while eating salmon and mozarella with tomatoes we talked about what we would shoot today. We had sent each other some raw ideas before to have a brief idea but it was really nice to discuss the concrete plans while having tea and and next to private conversations. Thats the big advantage when you are not only visiting a model but a good friend and everything becomes so familial. I really like such a comfortable athmosphere...for me its quite inspiring when I dont have so much pressure on my shoulders but every involved person can come up with own ideas. Also Coco included herself into the shooting. For those who doesnt know her. I may introduce her:
Tiny fluffy Coco with her orc-tooth (You can't see it on the photo but usually thats her trademark) having her crazy minutes on the carpet (which looked exactly like her fur) :)
I like to have dogs on the set and they hardly ever disturb me and I'm so used to this little white fluffball that I can hardly imagine a shooting without her :) But I think you are not here for hearing me adoring the doggy side of life...this might come later if I could convince my boyfriend to have dog together :P
So after brunch we did not only remove the dirty dishes but also some of Carry's clothes and made some 10 a.m. inspired photos in a very sweet and sexy but also natural look. We used her own flat as setting and in my eyes the photos turned out really nicely. I just got my new lense (Thanks to my private photodealer who suffered a bit because he had to cope with a really stressed version of myself) and so this was the first time I tested my shiny new 25-104mm....to make it short...I loved it <3
I'm used to work with Tamron and Sigma zoom lenses and now I must commit that you really feel the difference when you have Canon-L-Lense. I think with fixed focal width lenses the differences might not be so serious but here I could really feel that I was working with a baby that was worth every Cent! But I also should not go into details about lenses. Im totally happy with my new one and also this was the first shooting where I used my new laptop for the postproduction (Thanks to my two favourite computer nerds for helping me with the buying decision and preparing everything so that I can work now quite properly :) Seems like I have a special friend for everything...lucky me :) But I think I wrote enough nonsense for today and will finally show you a photo of Carry we took that morning.
